Clarivate's Q3 2022 revenues increased by 43.8% to $635.7 million, driven by the acquisition of ProQuest. Net loss attributable to ordinary shares was $4,434.4 million, compared to a net income of $6.0 million in the prior year quarter, due to a $4,448.6 million non-cash impairment of goodwill.
Adjusted EBITDA increased by 42.9% to $271.6 million, driven by acquisitions, organic growth, and cost savings, while the Adjusted EBITDA Margin decreased by 30 basis points to 42.7% .
Clarivate updated its 2022 outlook to reflect the strengthening US dollar, lower organic growth in transactional revenues, and the disposal of the MarkMonitor business. The proceeds from the MarkMonitor sale were used to reduce floating rate debt and lower leverage.
