Total revenue for the fourth quarter was $111.8 million, a 23% increase from the fourth quarter of 2020. Net income for the quarter was $21.9 million, or $0.70 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $1.4 million, or $(0.04) per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Free cash flow increased to $65.3 million, compared to $10.4 million in Q4 2020.
The company expects total first quarter 2022 revenue to be between $95 million and $100 million, comprised almost entirely of recurring revenue. This revenue guidance does not include the potential impact of any new patent license, technology solutions or patent sale agreements that may be signed, or any arbitration or dispute resolutions that may occur, during the balance of first quarter 2022.
