Kadant reported mixed results for the first quarter of 2025. Revenue decreased 4% to $239 million in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024.
Gross margin increased 150 basis points to 46.1% in Q1 2025.
Free cash flow increased 15% to $19 million in Q1 2025 compared to Q1 2024.
The company has revised its full-year 2025 guidance downwards due to geopolitical and trade policy uncertainty, including estimated incremental tariff costs and customer delays on large capital projects.
