Nutanix reported Q2 fiscal year 2020 financial results with revenue of $346.8 million, up from $335.4 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2019. The company saw a GAAP net loss of $217.6 million, compared to a GAAP net loss of $122.8 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2019.
Revenue was $346.8 million, an increase from $335.4 million in Q2 2019.
Software and Support (TCV) Revenue was $338.2 million, up 14% year-over-year.
GAAP net loss was $217.6 million, compared to a GAAP net loss of $122.8 million in Q2 2019.
New product attach rate grew to 31%, up from 21% in Q2 2019, with TCV billings from new products increasing by 99% year-over-year.
Nutanix’s TCV guidance for both the third quarter of fiscal 2020 and the full year of fiscal 2020 is impacted by the much faster than expected transition to subscription coupled with a more cautious view on business activities in the greater APJ region due to the anticipated impact of the coronavirus.
