Net income and earnings per share were quarterly records for the Company.

Net income increased $12.5 million, or 17.99%, to $81.8 million for the three-month period ended December 31, 2020, from $69.3 million for the three-month period ended September 30, 2020.

Earnings per share increased $0.08 per share, or 19.05%, to $0.50 per share for the three-month period ended December 31, 2020, from $0.42 per share for the three-month period ended September 30, 2020.

The Company’s provisioning model is closely tied to unemployment rate projections which continued to improve through the end of 2020.
