Cathay General Q4 2019 Earnings Report

Net income for the quarter ended December 31, 2019, was $67.4 million, an increase of $2.8 million, or 4.3%, compared to net income of $64.6 million for the same quarter a year ago.

Diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended December 31, 2019, was $0.84 compared to $0.80 for the same quarter a year ago.

The Company recorded a reversal for credit losses of $5.0 million in fourth quarter of 2019 compared to no provision for credit losses in the fourth quarter of 2018.
